Bio
E. Bryn Pitt is an R&D Staff Member in Manufacturing Robotics & Controls at the Manufacturing Demonstration Facility at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Dr. Pitt specializes in robotics and control systems engineering with applications across a range of advanced manufacturing areas. His current research supports revitalization of domestic manufacturing and supply chain stability by addressing technological and economic challenges of automation in infrastructure-scale manufacturing. Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Pitt worked in private industry, where he focused on human-robot interaction and fail-safe control system design. Dr. Pitt earned his Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University in 2021.
